This backpack is full size at the bottom, but the top is tight. It will barely zip closed around a 1" three ring binder. But the bottom is quite roomy--if you are packing things that sit on the bottom, no problems. -- small "full size" backpack
I think "full size" means a great size, but is a little small I think. -- No so full size
